Oquirrh Mountain Temple Visit

We started off our first two weeks with the kids going to see the new Temple, we were able to walk thru, they were excited about that, Amira kept asking me, "are you sure they will let us see everything? Even upstairs?" And as selfish as I am I got to be the first one (Mom) to be in the Brides room with her!

We even got a picture of the Moroni, where he got struck by lightning and turned black, from where we were it looked like a shadow. Its such a beautiful Temple! I am so glad we were able to experience that with the kids!
From the location you can see the Jordan River Temple (which is tech. in the same city boudaries) and the new Draper Temple!

Summer has been busy so far! I can now say its actually Summer! Yay!!! Its nice and green here and with all the rain we've been having it is nice to actually see the temp raise to 90! The pool is still too cold for swimming! (at least I think so, Amira does not!)Richard injured his toe, so he does not argue about the pool temp, he is perfectly content playing games on the Wii.
We are finally done with Wyoming! I am so thrilled! Though I will miss the track we went blading on all the time, that I think is all! Reid has been laid off, we knew it was coming so he has a job lined up already. So we are home! Our kritters love it, they miss us when we leave. All of our ducks and geese are Huge, however oddly enough they are still growing! They keep us busy, and they have no snooze button so we dont get to sleep in! They want food! The roosters dont even bother me now, the geese honk so loud! They still love me and follow me where ever I go when I am outside!

the lightning struck the Angel Moroni and turned part of him black. Sorry it took so long for me to respond ;)
